SL ISO Musician-Actor Registration

After receiving your response for the upcoming concert, SL ISO stage coordinators will register you according to the stage quota and setup. These registrations are tracked using specific statuses. You can review these statuses and their meanings below:

Concert Status: No Response

If you do not provide a positive or negative response to your stage coordinator before the response-expiry date, and if you do not make any attempt to contact them, your status will be recorded as "No Response". This status is evaluated at the end of the concert season. If you are recorded as "No Response" for three or more calls, you will not be contacted again for the following concert season, your name will be recorded as Black List and removed from the register list for next season.

Concert Status: Thinking

If you contact your stage coordinator before the response-expiry date to inform them that your decision is not yet certain, your status will be recorded as Thinking. If the expiry date passes and you still have not provided a positive or negative response, your status will be changed to No Response. If you contact your stage coordinator after the response-expiry date to confirm your participation, your status will be recorded as Confirmed Late.

Concert Status: Unavailable

If you inform your stage coordinator before the response-expiry date that you are unable to participate, your status will be recorded as Unavailable. If you are marked as Unavailable for two or more calls within a single concert season, you will be contacted again at the end of the season, and your participation status will be re-evaluated for the next concert season.

Concert Status: Confirmed

If you contact your stage coordinator before the response-expiry date and confirm that you will participate, your status will be recorded as Confirmed. This means that you have been accepted into the main roster for your instrument on stage.

Time is valuable for everyone

Concert Status: Confirmed Late

If you contact your stage coordinator after the response-expiry date or after the stage quota has been filled and provide a positive response, your status will be recorded as Confirmed Late. This means you will be assigned to your instrument group—or to another instrument group—only if there is a specific need. - IMPORTANT: Stage coordinators follow this process with great care. Since seats in some instrument groups fill very quickly once the concert date and time are announced, while other groups may still have openings, the Confirmed Late status has been designed to allow as many musician-actors as possible to participate and enjoy the experience.

Concert Status: No Seat

The formation of the stage roster begins the day after the response-expiry date. While the roster is being prepared, musician-actors whose status is recorded as Confirmed Late are placed into instrument groups that require additional members. If the number of musician-actors marked as Confirmed Late exceeds the available need, their status will be changed to No Seat. These adjustments and planning decisions fall under the responsibility of the SL ISO Artistic Director.

SL ISO Status: Left With Notice

If a musician-actor contacts their stage coordinator and states that they can no longer perform with SL ISO for any reason, their status will be recorded as Left With Notice, and their name will be removed from the next concert registration list. If they wish to return in the following season, they must reapply during the SL ISO application period.

SL ISO Status: Black List

If your name is recorded as No Response three or more times within a single concert season, you will not be contacted again for the following season. Your status will be recorded as Black List, and your name will be removed from the registration spreadsheet for the next season.
