About AMP in Second Life
The Ageless Mind Project was started in the spring of 2013 with the goal of exploring how the use of avatars to engage and interact with others in 3D immersive environments could be used to improve the overall health and wellbeing of members of our Second Life community. We called this project, “Whole Brain Health” and began creating installations and learning environments on our first plot of virtual land. We called our land Inspiration Island and set about connecting with and encouraging a wide range of people, groups, and educational institutions to join our community.
