The Soul Of Music

Updated: 2 days ago

Writer:  Aras Bilgen / February 2025

Music is the oldest language, beyond time,

A breath echoing from the deepest wells of the soul.

Like a brush dancing on canvas,

Like poetry whispering with the wind,

Like the sculptor’s hands shaping marble,

And like the warrior’s heart beating in the shadow of a sword.

Rhythm is like a heartbeat,

Melody, the map of the soul.

A pianist’s delicate fingers,

A violinist’s trembling breath,

A drummer’s rebellious strikes…

All resonate in the verses of fate.

A musician is sometimes a philosopher, sometimes a warrior.

A composer, an explorer charting emotions,

A soloist, a dervish diving into their depths,

A conductor, a sage weaving harmony from chaos.

Music is the mother of all arts,

Igniting inspiration, fueling passion.

It carries the courage of a warrior,

The sorrow of a poet,

The colors of a painter.

And to create good music,

Is not just to play notes,

But to speak with the soul.

To leave an echo that transcends time,

One must first listen to their own heart.
