Austin Moores

When you attend an Austin Moores show, expect the unexpected! One moment, he’s serenading you with heartfelt country ballads; the next, you’re grooving to the Oldies. Just as you're settling into that vibe, he might channel Sinatra, Bublé, or Como with some classic crooning. And don’t be surprised when he throws in some rock, swing, or even picks up his guitar for an impromptu tune. Austin’s performances are as versatile as they are catptivating, ensuring every show is a delightful surprise.

 

Austin’s love for music runs deep. Raised in a musically rich environment, he honed his skills playing brass instruments before switching to the flute during his time as a music major in college.

 

Over the years, Austin has performed with orchestras, bands, and duos, and even explored musical theatre. While living in Nairobi, Kenya, he studied voice at the Kenya Conservatoire of Music under a British instructor, who encouraged him to join the opera. His travelling in East Africa was not conducive to the opera schedule or his life may have been a bit different musically.
